I didn't want you to have to go through a nightmare without reason." He was very willing to subject himself to it to keep her protected. "Yeah that's a good idea. Let's try to be asleep by 11 PM." It was a little on the late side, but it would mean they'd be sufficiently tired and wouldn't keep the other waiting for too long.

"I remember team RWBY told me how Jinn showed them visions of the past like they were real. What if we could change how this dream looked like that too?" He considers this carefully. "I know, why don't you try imagining the room you're staying in right now?" he was going with the safest option he could possibly think of separated from any of their trauma.
